UPDATE: Fortnite update 26.10 is now available on consoles and PC. The new update sees the return of My Hero Academia to Fortnite. This includes the debut of Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, and Mina Ashido in the item shop. You will also be able to use Todoroki’s Ice Wall item on the island, which adds the ability to summon glacial shields. Epic explains further: “The Ice Wall has a huge health pool to protect you and your party from harm, and it will not melt until it is completely destroyed. Because it is so durable, be sure to choose your location carefully!
Elsewhere, Pizza Party boxes are making their return to Fortnite. These items restore health and shield simultaneously. Heisted Jade, Lost Amethyst, and Yellow Diamond Super Level styles are also available.
Fortnite developer Epic Games is set to release a brand new update for PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android. Fortnite update 26.10 has a release date of September 12 and a launch time of 9am BST in the UK. Needless to say, as the first major update of the new season, version 26.10 will launch alongside a period of server downtime, which will begin at 9am BST. The game should return online around 11 a.m.
The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter, along with a hint on what to expect from the 26.10 update.
“Brrrr… Downtime for version 26.10 begins at 4 a.m. EST, and matchmaking will be disabled shortly before.”
The hint has led to speculation about what exactly will be launched as part of the 26.10 update.
With Mortal Kombat 1 Early Access launching in just a few days, some fans believe that Sub Zero will join the game as a playable character.
Epic Games is also expected to add a new item or weapon to the game, as well as a new augmentation. This is in addition to the new skins in the Item Shop. Express Online will update this article with any new additions on September 12.
