Jack Fincham appeared for the first time since his arrest for drug driving and using fake number plates on Thursday as he took his dog Elvis for a walk in Kent.
The former Love Island winner, 31, ventured near his home in Swanley, close to where he was allegedly stopped by police on August 26 while speeding on the A2 .
Dressed casually in a blue polo shirt, shorts and sneakers, Jack was seen talking on his cell phone while walking the family pet, a rescue dog whose ears had been savagely cut off by its previous owner.
A lawyer representing Jack said the Love Island winner is considering making a formal complaint against police after becoming a “target”.
Conor Johnstone, of Maj Law, said he understood the number plates on Fincham’s vehicle were private plates, not fake plates, and the TV star vehemently denies all allegations made against him .
He told the PA news agency: “Mr Fincham has not been charged with drug driving and denies any drug use.
“There is no evidence at this stage that Mr Fincham drove over the legal limit and we hope his blood results will prove the same.”
“Mr Fincham feels he has become a target of Kent Police in recent months and is considering making a complaint against them.”
This comes after a similar incident in 2021, when Jack was arrested on suspicion of drug driving offenses and later pleaded not guilty at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court in Kent.
Johnstone, who also represented him in those cases, said that days before the trial in December, the prosecution dropped the case citing insufficient evidence.
In a statement released on Thursday, Kent Police said: “On Saturday August 26, 2023, officers arrested a 31-year-old man from Swanley on suspicion of drug driving, careless driving, driving without insurance and driving while displaying. fake number plates, on the A2 near Dartford.
“He has since been released on bail until November 26, 2023.”
Fincham won the 2018 series of hit ITV2 dating show Love Island with his ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer, daughter of former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer.
He then swapped a career in reality TV for boxing, with an upcoming fight against Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers.
The TV personality underwent a blood test and was detained on suspicion of careless driving and driving without insurance following her alleged arrest, The Sun reports.
A source close to Jack added that the reality star denies taking drugs and used private plates rather than fake ones.
MailOnline has contacted representatives and Kent Police for comment.
Jack is reportedly set to jet off to Fiji to appear in Love Island Games, the spin-off series in which contestants enter a villa in their quest to find love.
In July, the TV personality revealed he had split from girlfriend Jodie Ella.
Speaking as part of the Original Penguin X Campaign Against Living Miserably Under The Surface podcast, he hinted at a villa return following the explosive returns of Adam Collard and Kady McDermott.
Asked about Kady, Jack, who was recently linked to Chloe Brockett and Frankie Sims before his romance with Jodie, replied: “Oh yeah, of course, I would come back on the show. I would love to. It’s like a perfect environment for to meet someone…
“You don’t have to worry about your phone, going to work or cooking! I’m not just trying to quit work, but yes, I would come back to the show in a heartbeat.
While admitting he “gets a lot of attention,” Jack confessed he’s ready to find lasting love, saying, “But actually, I’m kind of ready to find someone…
‘[I want to] spend time with them. My little brother is 28 and he’s been with his girlfriend for nine years and I think wow, I would love that now.
In 2019, Jack shockingly admitted that he didn’t know if he had ever been in love, even though he had been dating Dani for almost a year.
On Celebs Go Dating, Jack broke his silence on their split, explaining he thought they moved too quickly after leaving the Love Island villa.
As officers Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson asked if he had ever been in love, Jack admitted: “I don’t know now.”
He added: “I’ve had three serious girlfriends for a long time…and you know, being with them, I said ‘I love you’ to all of them. Did I? I don’t know.’
He said: “If we had lived on Love Island forever everything would be fine. We immediately rushed in and moved in together. I wanted to [move in with her] but I wish we had waited.
“I let her squeeze me a little. We had a real connection in there and I think everyone can see that. Honestly, and I mean it, I wish him all the happiness in the world.
“I’m not a bitter person. Oh, 100 percent, I forgot about Dani and now I want to go meet someone. I missed so many meetings. I haven’t done it in over a year.
